HVF : DIN 11864 & DIN 11853 Aseptic Unions

These fittings were developed to meet the exacting needs of the food, chemical, Bio-Tech and pharmaceutical industries.  A range of “Aseptic” unions have been developed to meet these requirements, namely the “Aseptic” screwed union 11864-1; the “Aseptic” flange union DIN 11864-2 and the “Aseptic” clamp union DIN 11864-3.

The two standards were developed to suit Orbital/Auto Welding (DIN 11864 Long Pattern) and Manual Welding (DIN 11853 Short Pattern).  The standards were developed from earlier fittings standards namely the DIN 11851 Milk Couplings and the Flange alternative that used the same D-Section seal and also the T-Clamp standard that is covered by BS4825 Part 3, DIN 32676 and ASME BPE 2022.

Three designs of pipe fittings have been tailored to accept 2 different styles of aseptic seals that effect a smooth interface within the pipe joint whilst simultaneously achieving a metal to metal seat behind the seal.  The Type B seal has not been widely accepted however and is not commercially available.

Available with optional lengths to suit Orbital and Manual Welding, these unions have been designed to match tube and pipe specifications including DIN 11850/11866; ASME BPE 2022 and BS 4825 Part 1 and also the DIN 11866-B/ISO 1127 Standard for pipe.

The “Form A” seal is an O Ring joint whilst Form B is not commercially available.

A complementary range of orbital welding fittings is also available to DIN11865 Table A, B and C and include Bends, Tees and Reducers.

All tube are supplied with Material Certification to EN10204 3.1, AD2000-W2 on enquiry request
