HVF : Screwed Unions & Butt Weld Fittings

This style of fitting is used throughout the USA and is the standard dairy fitting meeting 3A requirements.  A bevel seat is utilised that eliminates the need for any seal, while a hexagonal nut is incorporated an ACME thread.

Used extensively throughout the wine industry in France and Italy these unions are frequently supplied as part of valve assemblies with square flanges.  The Union uses a round nut and flat seal that locates on the liner.
