HVF : DIN 11864 & DIN 11853 Aseptic Unions

This range of aseptic screwed unions was developed from the DIN11851 Milk Coupling Union. Commonly used throughout Europe, it was developed by the German hygienic industry to meet the exacting needs of the food, dairy and beverage, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. 

The “Form A” seal is an O Ring joint whilst Form B is not commercially available.

This design of fitting is based on the DIN 11851 Hygienic Screwed Milk Coupling Union where an Aseptic Joint and O Ring, replaces the convention D Section Seal. 

The new design was initially referred to as the DIN 11853 Aseptic Screwed Union before finally being included as the first part of the 3 new sections of the DIN 11864 standard.

Available with optional lengths to suit Orbital and Manual Welding, these unions have been designed to match tube and pipe specifications including DIN 11850 / 11866; ASME BPE 2022 and BS 4825 Part 1 and also the DIN11866-Table B / ISO 1127 Standard for pipe.

A complementary range of orbital welding fittings is also available to DIN11865 Table A, B and C and include Bends, Tees and Reducers.
